How KYUNGLAS Active Lenses Respond to Light

Active responds to UV exposure, shifting between a lighter state and a darker, smoke state. Active Pro uses the same photochromic response, with a Rose Gold mirror finish that becomes more visible as the lens darkens.

In Real Outdoor Light

This response happens during ordinary outdoor UV exposure. It isn't on a fixed schedule — how far the lens shifts can vary with the light your dog is actually walking in.

Indoors and in a Car

Indoors and inside a car, UV exposure is typically lower, so the shift can be limited. Active is designed to respond mainly to outdoor UV conditions.
