Is Active Pro stronger than Active? No. The main difference is the Rose Gold mirror finish.
How photochromic lenses change
Photochromic lenses respond to UV exposure by changing tint.

Both Active and Active Pro use this photochromic response. Active Pro uses the same photochromic response with a Rose Gold mirror finish. Photochromic lenses respond to UV exposure, so tint change may be limited indoors or inside a car where UV exposure is lower.
Brightness is what matters, not color
A tinted lens shouldn't be chosen by color alone — what actually matters is how much light it lets through.
Most Kyunglas color lenses use a near-neutral tint — the mirror coating changes how the lens looks from the outside, but what your dog actually sees through it stays close to natural. The real difference between colors is brightness, measured as VLT (Visible Light Transmission).

Measure head circumference between the eyebrows and ears, closer to the eyebrows, using a soft tape measure. Falling within a size range is a starting point — fit can still vary by eye spacing and muzzle shape. Pugs, Bulldogs, and similar flat-faced breeds often need a different fit than head circumference alone can tell you.

Which lens size do I need?
Choose the same size as your KYUNGLAS frame — Small, Medium or Large. If you are not sure, the Size Guide shows the head-circumference range for each size.
Is the frame included?
No. This page sells lenses only. A frame is sold separately on the Frame Only page.
Why are some colors or sizes unavailable?
Some combinations are sold out at the moment, and some are not offered in every size — for example, Large has Tulip Purple instead of the standard Purple. Unavailable options are marked on the page and cannot be added to the cart.
My dog has a flat face (short muzzle). Can I order online?
Short-muzzle Medium lenses are handled by consultation. Please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the right lens.
What is the difference between Active and Active Pro?
Both are photochromic. Active changes to smoke; Active Pro adds a Rose Gold mirror finish.
Can my dog wear Color lenses at night?
No — Color lenses reduce UV and glare during the day, which also makes them darker at night. Use a Clear lens after dark.
